Panoramic views of Tomar from around the Castle of the Knights Templar
The City of Tomar in Portugal was built in a large valley in the banks of Nabão River, surrounded by hills, and on top of them lie important monuments like the Castle of the Knights Templar, The Convent of Christ, the Chapels of Senhora da Conceição and Senhora da Piedade and so on. From there you can see beautiful panoramic views of Tomar. The first photo below was shot when I was walking to the Castle. So I wasn’t there yet but midway the road that leads to the Castle. The other two photos were shot just outside the castle.
