An afternoon in the rural area of Junceira in Tomar
My sister in law Amélia Moura and and her husband Victor, live in a village called Junceira, which is about 8 Kilometres from the City of Tomar. This village belongs to the Council of Tomar and that’s the reason I’m including a set of photos of the rural area around their house. My wife, my son and I were invited to spend an afternoon in their place in Junceira and in the usual Portuguese tradition of welcoming visitors, we were treated like kings, which included a mid afternoon repast with home made wine and other traditional dishes.
