The Tower of the Church of São João Baptista on the skies of Tomar

The church of São João Baptista in Tomar (St John the Baptist) was built between the 15th and 16th centuries and its architectural style is a mix of Manueline and Gothic.  In 1910, this church from which you can see the Castle of the Knights Templar on the hill, was classified as a National Monument. On the left side of the church, is the large bell tower with a quadrangular substructure, followed by an octagonal tower, topped by a pyramidal spire.
