Enjoying the view at the staircase leading to the Chapel of Senhora da Piedade

This staircase is so long that I have no other choice but to photographically take you with me all the way up to the top of the the hill, where the Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Piedade in Tomar, actually resides. However along the way we stopped a few times to rest and take photos of the surrounding areas. This is part of what you can see. In this case you can view in the distance the Castle of Tomar and the Convent of Christ.

In our long walk up to hill where the Chapel of Senhora da Piedade in Tomar was built, we took a good number of photos and admired the scenery which included UNESCO World Heritage monuments

As far as I can recall, at this stage of climbing the flight of 286 steps leading to the Chapel of Senhora da Piedade in the City of Tomar, we still hadn't reached the top of the hill
